I view human experience as an inherently creative process. Through our thoughts and beliefs, our behaviors, and the meanings we impose on our experiences, we actively create our lives. In my professional work, I strive to help my clients harness their innate potential to create meaningful and fulfilling lives through committed action based on personal values. I find this work to be challenging and deeply rewarding.
Be your best self.
The COVID-19 situation is unfolding with considerable uncertainty. I will make periodic updates to this website when necessary. Currently, my practice is exempt from the California statewide lockdown order issued by Governor Newsom on March 19, 2020. I am continuing to hold in-person appointments at this time. However, teletherapy appointments (phone calls and/or video conferencing) are preferred in the interest of safety. Please click here to learn more.

Working with my clients to discover, and ultimately act on, these covert potentials is among the most dynamic and fulfilling aspects of the work I do… [Learn more about my Orientation & Approach]

Personal growth is one of the most overlooked keys to enduring satisfaction. Happiness isn't an end point or a product; it's the outgrowth of how we live our lives.
Of the psychological challenges modern people struggle with, stress and anxiety hit our society the hardest. It doesn’t have to be this difficult.
Career coaching is a great way to get personal help with establishing professional goals, making career decisions, creating and executing plans, and overcoming obstacles.
It’s difficult to understand depression until you’ve lived through it. The challenges can be immense. Thankfully, even the most severe depression is treatable.
Relationships can be the source of our greatest joys and deepest turmoil. In few other areas are the stakes so high and the rewards so compelling.
Trauma and PTSD have a massively negative impact. Whether rooted in childhood abuse, or a more focal traumatic experience in adulthood, the repercussions can be painful, confusing, and destructive. You can free yourself from this darkness.
Anger is a protective emotion, but when it gets out of control, the consequences can deadly serious.
Addiction is horrible to live with, whether it is in you or a loved one. It is also, by definition, something that is very difficult to overcome on one’s own. Therapy can help overcome addiction.
